UTP PIPES AUSTRALIA was established in Australia in 1998 as part of Winston Scaffolding. Over the years, UTP PIPES AUSTRALIA supplied quality HFIW Black and Galvanised Steel Pipe products to the Australian marketplace through wholesalers. In 2006, to more effectively serve the Retail Market and End Users of its products, UTP PIPES AUSTRALIA decided to establish a separate Warehousing / Distribution complex in Sydney, New South Wales, nearby to the Winston Scaffolding Warehousing / Distribution complex in South Strathfield.

UTP PIPES AUSTRALIA now holds stock of over $ 2.0 million worth HFIW Black and Galvanised Steel Pipes in Extra Light, Light, Medium and Heavy varieties. This enables us to serve our customers better, readily from the stock held. For special requirements or projects, we can also place separate orders on our factory overseas and have the products supplied directly to our customers.

The products are manufactured, tested and certified to meet the requirements of Australian Standard AS 1074 - 1989. Our customers can be assured that the products they receive from us are produced to the highest quality and meet the stringent requirements set by Standards Australia.

Company History

Universal Tube and Plastic Industries Ltd, an ISO 9001: 2000 accredited company, is a part of the US$ 300 Million, Taurani Holdings Group of companies, and is a leading manufacturer and distributor of High Frequency Induction Welded Steel Pipes and Tubes located in the Jebel Ali Free Zone Dubai, U.A.E.

The company was established in Jebel Ali Free Zone in 1990 with a mere production capacity of 15,000 metric tons per annum. Over the years the company has registered tremendous growth and currently produces 90,000 metric tons annually.

Spread over 24,000 square meters, and having a dedicated workforce of about 250 employees the company is equipped with the state of the art machinery to manufacture good quality welded steel pipes and tubes, also certified by BSI UK for manufacture as per British Standards 1387/85 and by TUV Germany for “U” marking (U-Zeinchen) the hollow sections. Further more the steel pipes are "UL" listed and "PED" certified by BSI UK.
